Sage Patent Group is seeking a patent agent to manage patent prosecution for both global and local clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-4 years of patent prosecution experience, including drafting/filing patent applications, analyzing/responding to Office Actions, and handling large clients with global portfolios.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with high volume clients and will be comfortable managing dockets that include both short-term and long-term deadlines.

Candidates must be licensed to practice before the USPTO.

A hard science background is required. A bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in a related field such as electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is strongly preferred. Experience with telecommunications, artificial intelligence, software, and/or virtual reality technologies is preferred.

Sage is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has a hybrid office environment, with significant remote work opportunities. The ideal candidate will be based in Raleigh and the Research Triangle area.
