Timothy Wall

Tim Wall, a co-founder of Sage Patent Group, has been practicing law since 2003 until his retirement in 2026, and the focus of his practice relates to patent and patent matters. As a founder of Sage Patent Group, Tim has substantial experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, and has worked extensively with technologies relating to software, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, networking, wireless communications, electrical power distribution, manufacturing control systems, semiconductor devices, robotics, system simulation and medical devices/systems. Prior to practicing law, Tim gained extensive engineering experience working in the metal manufacturing and defense industries.

Tim was named as North Carolina Legal Elite for 2017, and a Lawyer of Distinction in 2020 and 2021.

Tim is also a member of Tau Beta Pi and was a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of South Carolina.

Tim received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from the Citadel and his Juris Doctor Degree from The University of North Carolina School of Law.
