Shandon Herring

Shandon has over 15 years of experience in patent and intellectual property law and has worked with a broad array of clients including large corporations, universities, and start-ups. He concentrates his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, conducting invalidity and non-infringement studies, writing formal legal opinions, portfolio management, and patent counseling work. Shandon works within numerous technology areas including telecommunications, wireless communications, artificial intelligence, computer vision, mobile game applications, virtual reality (VR) systems, blockchain technology, internet of things (IoT) networks, software as a service (SaaS), database management systems, cloud networking, medical devices, and data storage systems.

In his free time, Shandon creates and maintains tools for office productivity and communication. Particularly, Shandon is an avid programmer in VBA, AutoHotkey, Java, and SQL. Additionally, Shandon really enjoys connecting with other programmers and engineers, including those with entrepreneurial spirit.
