Matthew E. Browning

Matt Browning has over 15 years of experience counseling clients on all aspects of intellectual property law. His practice focuses on U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio development, due diligence, and legal opinions relating to infringement, validity, and freedom to operate.

Matt works with a wide range of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, medical devices, robotics, aerospace systems, and optical and electronic devices and circuits.

Before joining Sage Patent Group, Matt practiced with a national law firm and a boutique IP firm in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he was a communications systems engineer in the aerospace industry.
