Lee Wingate

Mr. Wingate became a patent agent in 1994 and has been practicing law since 1998. The focus of his practice relates to patents and related intellectual property matters. His experience prior to joining Sage Patent Group includes being in-house counsel for Scenera Research, a digital media startup company, where he was responsible for intellectual property matters. Before joining Scenera, Mr. Wingate was in private practice and in-house for over ten years in Illinois and Wisconsin. He has worked with a wide range of industrial, technical, and research clients including those focused on telecommunications, medical diagnostic imaging, industrial controls, aircraft controls, turbine/internal combustion engines and controls, motors, software technologies, superconductor material, and nanotechnology scale devices. His expertise includes preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, patent infringement and validity studies, patent pre-litigation analysis, patent monetization, contracts, and technology-related transactions and licensing.
