Scott L. McEvoy

Scott L. McEvoy has been practicing patent law since 2016 and has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2015. His practice is focused on patent preparation and prosecution in electrical, computer, and mechanical technologies, including microelectronic devices, semiconductors, telecommunications technologies, computer memory and processors, software-related inventions, biomedical devices, and mechanical devices.

Scott earned his Juris Doctorate from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2015, where he was the Associate Editor of the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law. In 2016, Scott earned his Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University, where he studied topics such as semiconductor device design and fabrication, space-time coding and multiple antenna wireless communication, software engineering, and systems programming and engineering. While at Duke, Scott was the Directing Manager of the DUhatch start-up incubator, where he helped over a dozen companies develop their businesses, including help in designing IP strategies, international product launches, and system designs to ensure data privacy compliance.
